My biggest event for June was once again attending the Cisco Live conference from June 27 to July 1. It was once again in Las Vegas, making my third trip there, each time to attend this conference.
I've never seen anyone put on a conference as well as Cisco. This year was the biggest event, with 12,000 attendees. And, while you sure feel like there are that many people there while walking around the hallways in the convention areas, they've got everything down to a science. 12,000 people all get up from a general session and head to lunch at the same time, but there's only a five minute wait (after a 10 minute walk) for food. And the food is great. I guess for the price of the conference it should be, but everything is top-notch, and there's a lot to learn, as well.
I returned to the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas, as there is now a location on The Strip. When I was there before there was only the location located with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. I already had a Hard Rock Cafe - Las Vegas shot glass, so no need to buy another one, but helps to keep me "official" in having actually visited the location. And I must say the service (once again) was great.
