I have an update for David Welch the son of James A and Estella L (Decker) Welch. He was born on 29 Dec. 1953 and passed away on 2 June 2010 in Inverness, Fl. He is buried in the Veterans Administration Florida National Cemetery, Bucknell. Fl, sec. 609 plot 1720.

David B. "Postal" Welch, 56, of Crystal River, FL, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Hospice of Citrus County House in Lecanto. David was born on December 29, 1953, in Jacksonville, IL, to the late James and Louise Welch. He served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne. David worked for F & H Contractors in Crystal River, FL. He was Catholic.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Lee Decker and Larry E. Welch, and brother-in-law Joe De Ornellas. Survivors include two daughters, Katie Welch (Kevin Frimpter) of Inverness, FL, and Niki Vermilyea (Todd) of Beverly Hills, FL; two brothers, Earl Welch (Phyllis) of Kokomo, IN, and Richard Welch (Kim) of Jacksonville, IL; three sisters, Judy Cisne (Tom), Sharon De Ornellas and Betty Avilla (Jose), all of Jacksonville, IL; five grandchildren, Cheyenne, Mitchell, Alexia, Josh and Jake; several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation for Mr. Welch will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the Heinz Funeral Home in Inverness. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, at the Heinz Funeral Home. Father Emery Longoga will preside. Interment with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness, FL.
